Everyone has one life in this world, but no matter how long or short your life has been, what matters the most, is what you leave behind after your death.
For many, it maybe loads of money, property or even offsprings, which is true, but what a true artist leaves behind is his body of work, his ethos, his legacy.
The impact an artist makes, stays lifelong, and there is no greater pleasure than that for an artist, in life and in death.
The number one reason for me to choose Irfan Khan as the subject for my illustration was because of his work ethic, his meticulous effort in portraying the character and the preparation he does for it and the genuine uniqueness he brings out. These characteristics in a person truly inspires me and I try to reflect and replicate them in my work.
